MEMBERS OF BUREAU FOR EUROPEAN YOUTH FORUM STUDY PROBLEMS OF AZERI YOUTH
The objective of the members of the Bureau for European Youth Forum (BEYF), arrived in Baku on Thursday under the tour of the Southern Caucasus countries, is to study the problems of the youth of the region countries, the BEYF members told Trend.
The leaders of the youth organizations including into the National Council of Youth Organizations of Azerbaijan (NCYOA), as well as media representatives participated at the meeting, organized by the NCYOA. Fuad Muradov, the chairman of the NCYOA, noted that they have taken active part at some projects since the beginning of the cooperation with the BEYF in 2000.
Mariana Churkan, a member of the National Council of Youth Organizations of Moldova, said that the objective of their visit is to study the problems of the youth organizations and submission of information to the BEYF. She stated that BEYF was non-political organization and aimed at proximity of youth organization of the Southern Caucasus countries.
Churkan noted that they had visited Armenia and Georgia before their visit to Baku and got familiar with the problems of the youth countries. Then the gests answered the questions of the representatives of the youth organizations including the NCYOA, as well as media.
The visit of the members of the NCYOA will continue two days.
