The Embassy of France to Azerbaijan clarified the information spread lately in the Azerbaijan’s media on the Shangen visa issues. The government of France took a decision on application of the Article 2.2 of the Shangen Agreement after terrorist attacks in London, the Embassy told Trend.
Under this article the Agreement member - state, in case of necessity to strengthen the inner stability and the national security regime may reinstate control over its national borders during a certain period of time.
The Embassy states, that this decision will not affect the visa issuing procedures and their validity.
