MUBARIZ GURBANLI: MEETING TO TAKE PLACE AT MUSAVAT PARTY’S HAS NO RELATION TO DIALOGUE BETWEEN AUTHORITIES AND OPPOSITION
The meeting to take place at the Musavat Party’s headquarters has no relation to the dialogue between the authorities and opposition, deputy executive secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) Mubariz Gurbanli told Trend. The sides have been sent invitations in connection with the next roundtable between the pro-governmental and oppositional parties to be held on 5 August at the headquarters of the Musavat Party.
Gurbanli said, he had no idea of the invitations and noted, the fourth round of meeting between the authorities and oppositional representatives will take place at the headquarters of the Civil Solidarity Party (CSP).
В"NAPВ", as it is scheduled, will take part in the next meeting in the first half of August to take place at the Civil Solidarity Party’ s headquarters. The OSCE Baku office head Mauricio Pavesi is also informed of this meeting. The pre-election situation and unethical campaigning in the mass media will be discussed during the roundtable. The meeting, to be held by the Musavat Party has no relation to the dialogue between the authorities and opposition, they simply want to meet and discuss something. If they want to hold a dialogue, let them come to the CSP’s and voice their opinion”, Gurbanli noted.
The NAP official spokesman said, during the roundtable to take place at the CSP’ headquarters, the decision of the next meeting between the pro-governmental and oppositional parties will be taken.
