A newly appointed Ambassador of Italy to Azerbaijan Djan Luidgi Masha will arrive on 1 September to Azerbaijan, the Embassy of Italy to Azerbaijan told Trend.
The Azerbaijani side has already approved the candidacy of the diplomat. Azerbaijan will be the first country for him to work as Ambassador. Before appointment to Azerbaijan a diplomat was the official representative of Italy at the international organizations in Vienna.
A diplomatic mission of his predecessor Margerita Costa will complete on 20 August. The diplomat has worked in Azerbaijan for 4 years, the subsequent appointment of Costa will be defined by the Foreign Ministry of Italy.
