Wide legal normative base for reforms with in the prosecutor bodies has been established over the past period, Zakir Garalov, the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan, told journalists on
Monday.
In accordance with the new laws, significant cut in staff was implemented in the prosecutor bodies for the first time. В"160 employees were excluded from the prosecutor bodies for serious violations in the work. Around 100 people were released from senior posts.
The staff was defined in accordance with the business schedule. At present 943 people work in the prosecutor bodies currently,В" Garalov noted.
He underlined that the number of units and departments will be halved.
One of the directions of reforms is the formation of healthy personnel for the prosecutor bodies through hiring employees who successfully pass exams, according to the ProsecutorвЂ"General.
