“MP Alimammad Nuriyev propagandizes himself, while elections propaganda has not started. He started the campaign in the Nasimi constituency 22, where he ballots,” Khoshgadam Jabrailoglu, the head of the Executive Board of the Azerbaijani Intellectuals’ Movement, told Trend.
According to Jabrailoglu, Nuriyev violates requirements of the Elections Code.
Therefore, the Central Electoral Committee and appropriate bodies must take measures in his regard. “Nuriyev’s people go round homes and distribute calendars with his depiction and booklets on his activities,” Jabrailoglu noted.
According to Jabrailoglu living in the same constituency, where Nuriyev ballots, the process is carried out openly.
Nuriyev denied it. “There are some forces, which started propaganda against me. They are ready to spend a great deal of money,” he stressed.
He also stated that the forces wanted to deprive him of votes. “However, it is not easy to win me,” Nuriyev said.
