At the elections to Milli Mejlis 61 candidate will take part from the “Public Leaders’ union. The list of the registered candidates of the “Public Leaders” union was publicized on 7 September during the news conference at the International Press Center, Trend reports.
A leader of the union’s electoral head office Magerram Zulfugarli reported, the “Public Leaders” prepared a list of 64 candidates, whom he supported. From 64 persons the union supports, 61 candidatures were registered. 2 persons were not registered. Zulfugarli refused to take part in the elections.
A member of the union Osman Gyunduz told about the problems he faces in Balaken constituency в"-109, from where he nominated his candidature. According to him, they did not want to register his candidature under various pretexts. However, after all their efforts and legal substantiations he succeeded in registering his candidature.
