Ilham Aliyev, the Azerbaijani President, signed a decree on conferring of honorary titles to oil industry workers on Monday. 10 people, including Natig Aliyev, the President of the SOCAR, Khoshbakht Yusifzada, the first Vice-Premier of the SOCAR, and Yavar Jamalov, the head of the Azneft, were conferred with title вЂ�honored engineerвЂ™, Trend reports.
The head of the country issued a special grant for 10 oil industry workers. The Cabinet of Ministers was charged in solving of all issues arising from the decree.
Aliyev also issued a decree on perpetuation of the memory of Salman Nagiyev, the famous oil industry worker and hero of socialist labor. In accordance with the decree, the Baku Executive Power is charged in mounting of memorial board on the building, where Nagiyev lived.
