“The Azerbaijani communists will stage rallies within the Constitution,” MP Rauf Gurbanov, the first deputy chairman of the Azerbaijan Communist Party, told Trend.
The deputy noted that they would criticize not the government, but separate officials treated indifferently to solution of social problems. He denied speaking about time and place of the rallies. Gurbanov also noted that 20 communists balloted in the elections. He refused from possibility of joining other parties in the elections. “We are constructive opposition and can not join any party,” he said.
Gurbanov denied rumor about ACP’s cooperation with the Communist Party of United Azerbaijan in the elections. “We don’t regard chairman of the party Sayad Sayadov as communist and can not be together,” he added.
