Ramil Usubov, the Azerbaijani Interior Minister, held a news conference at the office of the Interior Ministry on Thursday. The Minister informed the journalists that as a result of economic development, reforms and actions on control over the criminal situation in the country, dynamic of crime sin the country decreases yea by year.
“It is not accidental that the result of the first 8 months of 2005 once more testify for positive ends of the efforts taken in combating crimes. As compared to last year the statistics of the serious crimes decreased 10%, the fatal cases dropped 6.6%,” Usubov stressed.
Besides, the drug trafficking dropped in the country this year.
