“The Azerbaijan Liberal party (ALP) addressed to international organizations,” Elman Mammadzada, the head of the pre-election headquarters of the ALP, told Trend.
The reason for address was refusal of the Baku Executive Power to sanction the rally in Fuzuli square on 1 November. It should be mentioned that the authorities allow the party to hold the rally in Galaba square, but the ALP did not agree.
Mammadzada also noted that they want to hold the rally in Fuzuli square, which located in the territory of the Yasamal district constituency 17, where the leader of the ALP, Lala Shovkat Hajiyeva ballots. “Galaba square locates in the territory of other constituency. We intend to hold the peaceful rally in Fuzuli square,’ he underlined.
