In January to September 2005 the communications enterprises provided population and economic subjects with services worth 1.5trln manats, or 32.9% over the year-on-year indicator.
24.9% of all services was fell on public enterprises, 75.1% - private companies, with a rise of 12.7% and 41.3% respectively. 76.1% of service was directly rendered to population.
Significant rise was observed in regions: the telecommunications services in the economic zone Aran - 10.6%, Absheron - 19.1%, Guba Khachmaz вЂ" 10.2%, Shirvan вЂ" 11.4%, Shaki вЂ" Zakatala вЂ" 12.7%, Ganja-Gazakh вЂ" 13.4%, Nakhchivan AR- 21.8% and in Lankaran - 11.4%.
Incomes of the Communications and Information Technologies Ministry made up 533bn manats (over $116m). Incomes of the community payments made up 199bn manats (around $43.32m). Since the beginning of the year the Ministry put into exploitation 90,101 telephone numbers, while investments totaled $19.7.
Incomes from mobile communications, which take the major part of services, grew 44.8% as compared to last year and reached to 1053.3bn manats.
