“The constituent conference of the Congress of Democratic Forces (CDF), establishment of which was planned at the initiative of the �For Azerbaijan’ election bloc, will be held after the parliamentary elections,” Taleh Aliyev, the head of the central pre-election headquarters, told Trend.
Aliyev noted that they held negotiations between political forces on establishment of the congress. “The heads of some political parties have come to agreement,” he added.
Aliyev also stressed that besides political parties, nongovernmental organizations and authoritative people will be represented at the CDP. “We plan to establish chairmanship institute and the Coordinating Council,” he underlined.
The main goal of the Congress is to consolidate all democratic forces, defend democratic midst before and after the parliamentary elections.
