Azeri communists’ visit to Russia adjourned

“A delegation of the Azerbaijani Communist Party (ACP) has adjourned a meeting with the head of the Russian Communist Party, Gennadiy Zyuganov,” MP Rauf Gurbanmov, the
first vice chairman of the ACP, told Trend.

Gurbanov explained the delay with busy schedule in connection with the pre-election situation.

The visit to be paid at the invitation of the leader of Russian communists targets exchange of opinion with Russian counterparts in connection with the elections.

He noted that communists from the CIS countries will come to Azerbaijan to observe the parliamentary elections at own initiative. “Along with Russian communists, the group will also include politicians with the same conviction from Ukraine and Belorus,” he underlined.
