“Transparent ink may not be replaced with water in election station,” Igbal Babayev, the head of the Information Center of the Central Election Center (CEC), told Trend.

“Azadlig’ election bloc spread information that on 6 November fingers of electors
were marked with water in Alibayramli constituency 46, Khatai 3rd constituency 35, Binagadi 2nd constituency 9 that caused violation of control. According to bloc, these cases were recorded. Azadlig’ bloc required from the CEC to investigate into the cases, also stated that the transparent ink delivered from Georgia were unusable. The bloc considers that ordinary water was used instead of ink and these violations prejudice the results of the elections.

Touching upon the statement of Azadlig’, Babayev said that it was impossible to fill the cylinders with water. “The ink delivered from Georgia was checked up and certified. The ink was produced neither in Georgia not in Azerbaijan. To prejudice the product made in compliance with international standards is absurd. How can you fill in the ink cylinder with water?” Babayev said.
