“The parliamentary elections held on Sunday succeed,” Ali Ahmadov, the Executive Secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP), said to a news conference on Sunday,Trend reports.
“The presidential decrees of 11 May 2005 and 25 October 2005 in relation to the parliamentary elections established basis for preparation and holding of the elections,” Ahmadov stressed.
He said that despite existence of some small violations, it would not have impact on the elections. The NAP representative named the statement on falsification baseless. “It is impossible to spread such statements not waiting for publication of the results,” he added.
“We can speak about the victory of the NAP, but despite it we prefer to wait for publication of the results by the CEC,” Ahmadov underlined.
