“A statement by Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejdat on the razing Israel to ground, cannot be regarded as normal message from the head of state to another country. It is not a language of interstate dialogue,” Artur Lenk, the Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan, stated to a ceremony staged in Baku for commemoration of former late Israeli Premier Issaak Rabin.

Touching upon the pace of development of the Azerbaijani-Israeli cooperation Lenk noted that Tel-Aviv is ready to expand and deepen the bilateral relationships.

Reminding the participation of former Azerbaijani President Heydar Aliyev in the burial ceremony of Rabin the diplomat noted that to date the level of interstate relationships between the two countries is high.
