“The opposition must discuss issues not through holding of rallies in streets, but at round table,” Mubariz Gurbanli, the deputy executive secretary of New Azerbaijan Party (NAP), told Trend.

“The Authorities are ready to hold negotiations with any political force, but the opposition’s intention must be good. Unfortunately, the opposition is far from it and seeks solution of all issues in squares, but similar choice is vain,” he added.

Gurbanli also noted that the opposition desired to insure their defeat in the parliamentary elections through rallies, but they did not have such authority among people. “If the opposition has such authority, they would win in the elections,” he stressed.

It should be mentioned that the opposition scheduled a rally in Galaba square for 19 November in protest to the results of the elections.
