Azeri delegation led by 1st Vice-Premier to participate in meeting of CIS Council of Prime Ministers

The Azerbaijani delegation led by Abbas Abbasov, the Azerbaijani 1st Vice-Premier, will participate in the meeting of the CIS Council of Prime Ministers to be held in Moscow on Friday, the Cabinet of Ministers told Trend.

The meeting will discuss 30 issues, including formation of common energy market, complex of medium-term events on promotion of the competitive products, made by national producers, to the internal markets of the CIS and third countries. The agenda includes the draft convention on border cooperation and the issue of injection of changes and supplements into the regulation on interstate council on extremal situations.

During the session the CIS member-countries are supposed to sign 25 different documents, including, agreement on basis if harmonization of technical regulations, single methodology on custom statistics of foreign trade, conception of education for adults in the CIS countries without discussion. The considerable part of the documents destined for signing is dedicated to the issues of defense character and interaction problems between law-enforcement bodies. The participants of the event are also expected to sign agreement on interaction of states in struggle with human traffic; cooperation in struggle with theft of cars; bureau on coordination of struggle with organized crime and other danger crimes. Azerbaijan got familiar with the draft documents and approved them.

The CIS member-countries also plan to sign some documents on establishment of the CIS complex air-raid in 2006, allocation of assignments in this regard and prolongation of programs on improvement of complex air-raid.
