In January to October the production of the agrarian sector in the current prices comprised 7.6trln manats, or 7.2% up as compared to last year. The growth pace turned out 2.2 times up as compared to 2004.
As of 1 November grain harvesting made up 2.13 million tons, which is 31,300 tons, 0.9% down as compared to 2004. Major reason for drop in grain production and beans, as well as loss of definite part of sown area.
Cotton harvesting continued in October. 176,600 tons of cotton was harvested, or 40.2% more as compared similar period of 2004
