“The statement on transparent and democratic organization of elections in Azerbaijan signed on Tuesday will be sent to the Council of Europe and international organizations,” Husseyn Pashayev, the head of the press service of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP), told Trend.
The statement was drawn up at the initiative of NAP and signed by approximately 800 candidates, including, candidates from opposition parties 9 - Umid Party, 9 - the United Party of Popular Front, 5 - the Liberal Party, 5 - the Civil Solidarity Party, 3 - Musavat Party, 3 - Justice Party, 2 - Vahdat (Unity) Party.
Pashayev noted that the document would be sent to Strasburg on the even of the winter session of the PACE.
