Рђbbasali Hasanov: Presidents of Azerbaijan and Iran reached understanding on development and deepening of relations in all spheres
The government of Iran will grant $1 million for construction of the Tahtakerpyu bridge. The relevant document has been signed on 20 December 2005 in Nakhchevan by the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Iran, Elmar Mammdyarov and Manuchehri Mottaki within the framework of meetings of the presidents of Azerbaijan and Iran Ilham Aliyev and Mahmud Ahmedinedjad, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Iran Abbasali Hasanov told Trend exclusively.
Another important moment of the meetings at the leadership level, the Ambassador called signing of the Memorandum on cooperation in the energy field by presidents of the both countries, according to which the sides will develop and deepen collaboration in the energy field.
As for the talks at the level of the heads of the two states, the diplomat said, the issues concerning all aspects of the bilateral cooperation have been dealt with: in economic, humanitarian, social, scientific and cultural spheres. The sides noted especially the significance of developing of the cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Iran; the agreement has been reached on holding the week of the AzerbaijanвЂ™s culture in Iran and vice versa.
