Aid Strategy of Japanese government to Azerbaijan in 2006 to be expanded

The government of Japan plans to expand its aid strategy to Azerbaijan in 2006, the Ambassador of Japan to Azerbaijan Tadahiro Abe told Trend.

According to him, it will cover, first, the social sphere. A number of projects on improvement of the systems of education, healthcare, economic infrastructure development will be implemented. According to the Ambassador, the aid from Japan may be increased.

The diplomat noted especially positive advancement in the economy of Azerbaijan. The country has reached big results for the last years, established sustainable developing economy, the Ambassador stated. The social sphere needs currently to be developed and brought to the level of the economy.
