Powers of the judge of the Economic Court Djafar Veliyev and the jugde of the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan Republic Sudaba Hasanova are suspended, the decision on it has been taken at the sitting of the Parliament of Azerbaijan, held on 23 December 2005, Trend reports.
Djafar Veliyev retired on a pension after suspending his court activities based on the application addressed by him to the Azerbaijan’s president and the judicial council.
Sudaba Hasanova was appointed judge to the Constitutional Court of Azerbaijan. Hasanova swore that she will perform her new duties with honor and dignity and handle the cases within the Constitution.
