Ilham Aliyev, the Azerbaijani President, approved the state program on the technical development of the state border protection for 2006-2010, Trend reports.
In acordance with the decree issued by the head of the country, the state program on the technical development of the state border protection for 2006-2010 was approved in order to provide national state interests, protect state borders and economic security of the country, as well as prevent illegal acts.
The Cabinet of Ministers is charged in approval of the norms of the logistical support of the State Border Service, as well as solution of other issues envisaged in the decree.
The Finance Ministry is charged in solution of financial issues related to the decree, the State Border Service - implementation of the state program.
