The ties between Azerbaijan and Finland increasingly develop. The interstate documents undersigned during your last years visit will stimulate the bilateral relations. I hope that the friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Finland will expand hence, the message says.
It should be mentioned that Halonen is the first female President of Finland, reelected for the second 6-year term. She left behind her rival Souli Neeneste, the ex-Finance Minister, with little difference in the second round of the elections. Halonen gained 51.8% of votes, Neeneste - 48.2%.
