WFO implements some new projects in Azerbaijan
The World Food Organization (WFO) will hold some new medium and long-term projects, Abdelatif Tabet, the newly-appointed representative of the organization in Azerbaijan, said at a meeting with Elmar Mammadyarov, the Foreign Affairs Minister, the press service of the Ministry told Trend.
Azerbaijan attaches great importance to the development of the comprehensive cooperation with WFO and demonstrate interest in implementation of joint projects in agriculture, Mammadyarov stressed.
The Minister also voiced readiness of the Azerbaijani government to render any support to the activities of the WFO representative office in Baku. Mammadyarov also informed new head of the WFO representative office about the Nagorno-Karabakh problem, the problems of the Azerbaijani refugees and internally displaced persons.
