The Union of Pro-Azerbaijani Forces will make a decision on participation in the by-elections scheduled for 13 May 2006 at the meeting of the block to be held next week, Haji Hajiaga Nuri, a co-constitutor of the block, also chairman of the Islamic Party, told Trend .
The meeting was planned for this week, but we decided to hold it next week, as my participation in the legal process in the Sabail district court on 7 February in relation to statement made by me against CEC and the event organized by us on the Ashura Day hindered holding of meeting, Nuri said. The meeting will determine directions of the further activities of the block.
It is possible that we will discuss the issue on admission of new members to our block in connection to participation in the by-elections, Nuri underlined.
Besides the Islamic Party, the Unity Party and the Popular Revival Party remained in the Union of Pro-Azerbaijani Forces block, after leaving of Vahdat and Social Democratic Parties.
