The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) proposed technical assistance to the Tariff Council of Azerbaijan in developing and establishing this bodys structure in the country, the official spokesman of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in Azerbaijan Reymond Conway told Trend.
According to him, setting up of the Tariff Council in the country is the first move on establishing an independent regulatory body or several bodies in various fields of economy. В"Its further structure will depend on the governments decision to structure the system, he said.
According to Conway, the bank would like Azerbaijan to continue the work in this direction and in future to resolve the issue of regulators in the countrys economy.
