OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs to discuss in Washington further steps to be based on results of Rambouillet talks US Amb
During the forthcoming meeting in Washington the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs from Russia, the United States and France will discuss possible steps on the base of results of the Rambouillet talks, Reno Harnish, the US Ambassador to Azerbaijan, told journalists.
According to Harnish, it is not worth to expect from the Washington talks any progress on the peaceable resolution of the conflict, though the United States believes that the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs will succeed to have useful consultations.
Referring to the US Deputy Secretary of State, Nicolas Burns, the US diplomat stressed that the achievement of agreement under the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is not too far.
The next meeting of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs on the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict due in Washington is scheduled for 7-8 March 2006.
