On Thursday Ilham Aliyev, the Azerbaijani President, met with Taro Asso, the Janapese Foreign Minister, within the official visit to Tokio. The sides mentioned
their interest in the development of the bilateral relations and necessity of attraction of unused potential, Trend reports referring to Lider TV channel.
Aliyev also visited the Azerbaijani embassy in Tokyo and got familiar with the activities of the diplomatic representation. The head of the country gave appropriate instructions to the employees of the embassy.
The same day the Azerbaijani President gave an interview to HNK TV channel, as well as held negotiations with Toshiuki Fujiwara, the chief executive of the Japanese Foreign Relations Institute, the representatives of the Japanese Foreign Trade Organization and the management of FSAS, the world-known company in information technologies.
