Increase in number of exhibitions in Azerbaijan testify for rise of economic growth  Mehman Ahmadov

Increase in the number of exhibitions in Azerbaijan testify for rise of economic growth of the country, Mehman Ahmadov, the Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Azerbaijan, stated in his opening remarks to the opening ceremony of the 3rd international automobile exhibition AutoShow-2006, that started at the Sport and Concert Complex named after Heydar Aliyev on March 15.

Attending the opening ceremony were the head of the Association of Car Dealers, Natik Zarbaliyev, the Director of Iteca Caspian, as well as representatives of the embassies accredited in Baku.

All together 69 companies from 12 countries will take part in the exhibition, including those from Japan, Poland, Ukraine, India, Germany, Iran, UAE, Thailand and Czech Republic. The exposition area of the exhibition has increased in 50 % comparing to the year 2005, he said.

Main section of the exhibition are passenger cars, trucks, specialized automobiles, body parts, engines and components, car tuning, car electric and electronics, buses, tyres, tyre repair, rubber, automobile care products, car accessories, car alarm and safety devices, batteries (accumulative) and charging equipment.

Auto-Show 2006 is officially supported by the executive Power of Baku City, Chamber of Commerce of Azerbaijan, Association of Car Dealers of Azerbaijan, National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organization, TUSIAB, Investment and Advisory Foundation of Azerbaijan.
