The Imam Khomeini Salvation Committee (Imdad) will deliver 130 tons of humanitarian aid to Azerbaijan on Thursday, the Baku representation of the Committee told Trend.
The aid will consist of 35,000 tons of seed-oil, 40 tons of rice, 30,000 packages of washing powder and 1 tons of medicines. The aid will be distributed among the Azerbaijani refugees and the internally displaced people, as well as poor strata of the population.
Motorcade will arrive at the Azerbaijani-Iranian border in Astara on Thursday. Official ceremony of aid reception and distribution is scheduled for 17 March.
