The next meeting of the Central Election Committee (CEC) was held on Friday. The meeting considered the complaint by Eldar Rustamov balloted from Surakhany 2nd constituency 31, Trend reports.
Ramiz Ibrahimov, a member of CEC, said that special working group was established to study the complaint. Some technical mistakes were revealed in the signature lists, submitted to constituency committee. From 610 signatures, 420 are valid, 188 invalid, 12 repeated signature, while 2 belong to teenagers. Therefore, CEC upheld the decision by constituency committee on refusal from registration of Rustamovs candidacy.
