The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) holds a competition for the officers of the Interior Ministry troops in Baku. The competition subject is- International Humanitarian Law (IHL), the ICRC told Trend
The Committee `s regional consultant, Gia Doradze is supervising the course. Such questions as implementation of the international humanitarian laws, adhesion to the IHL norms during the military activities, protection of POW will be reviewed at the competition.
The course is the #6 ICRC` s action within the frames of the program of International Humanitarian Right Spreading in Azerbaijan. It will officially end on April 7 and all its participants will receive certificates.
Noting the ICRC program is implemented in Azerbaijan since 2003.
