414 persons are detained this year for drug related crimes in Azerbaijan, the state commission on drug trafficking and narcotics told Trend.
20 of the detained are foreign citizens. Among them are 12 Georgian citizens, 5 Iranian, 2- Russian, 1- afghan and 1 Ukrainian.
In general, 744 drug related crimes have been registered this year. 264 of them are drug trafficking and sale cases. 62.5 kg of drugs and drug substances have been confiscated.
