The Kazakh parliament speaker, Ural Mokhamedjanov will visit Azerbaijan, the Kazakh embassy` s advisor, Erjan Mukash told Trend.
The visit is planned for 2006-07, he said. The visit` s main goal is the discussion of the parliamentary cooperation, Mukash said.
He reminded that the Azerbaijani Milli Mejlis chairman, Valex Aleskerov, who arrived for 10th anniversary of the Kazakh parliament, has held a number of meetings in the parliament. This proves that we should develop our relations further, he said.
There is a Kazakh-Azerbaijani inter-parliamentary friendship group acting in the Kazakh parliament, he added. We have no information whether the similar group exists in the Azerbaijani Milli Mejlis, he said.
Noticeably, there is an Azerbaijani- Kazakh inter-parliamentary friendship group in Milli Mejlis, made up of 6 MPs with Farkhad Garibov in charge.
