Dallas Frochribe, program manager with International Republican Institute (IRI) led the workshop for referents of Milli Medjlis on April 22, Trend reports with reference to IRI officials.
In the workshop were partaking deputies referents from New Azerbaijan Party, Peoples Front of Azerbaijan and Yurddash party, as well as 11 assistants to 10 independent candidates running for parliament at reelections of May 13.
Frochribe performed lectures on democracy, powers division, sources of power, as well as on roles and work of referents. Each lecture was followed with discussions.the workshop was organized within the program for joint work of parliament and IRI.
Earlier IRI helped 4 deputies to open offices in Baku, Lankarn, Gedabek and Ordubad.
