A 7-day international action titled Heydar Aliyev BTC pipeline is guarantee of peace, security. Stability and development in the region, organized by the National Confederation of Azerbaijani Women and the New Azerbaijan Party has started with the participation of representatives of three BTC host countries, Trend reports.
Participants in the action started from Baku on May 1 to several cities of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey to meet with local residents in Yevlakh, Ganja, Shamkir, Tovuz and Gazakh, inform about economic an d political significance of the BTC oil pipeline.
On 2 May the delegation will meet in Tbilisi with the Georgian speaker Nino Burjanadze, as well as MPs and head of the Marneuli District Executive Power, Amiran Chibutidze, hold talks with the local people residing in the territory along the oil pipeline.
On the next day the participants in the action will tour Turkey and hold public meetings in Trabzon, Adana and Ceyhan, as well as visit the oil terminal in Ceyhan.
Turkish Prime Minister Rejep Tayyub Erdogan is expected to a demo to be staged in Adana with the participation of representatives from 3 countries
