DYNAMIC Of GDP CHANGE DUE TO CONSUMPTION

In January to March 2006 the GDP calculated through the consumption method comprised 2944.32m manats, or 8.6% down as compared to the GDP ratio calculated by the State Statistics Committee through the production method

Special weight of investment demand grew from 35.3% fixed in January to March of 2005 to 37.6% in 2006.

Special weight of aggregate consumption demand rose from 39.7% in 2005 to 50.5% in January March 2006.

Public consumption grew both in absolute and relative prices. The expenses for purchase of goods and services rose by 70.2 as compared to 2005, while the special weight grew from 4.2% to 7.4% in the structure of consumption.

In the first quarter a rise in local production covered considerable part of export. As to foreign demand on local export product it remains to be high, while the export sector speeds up.

The special weight of export in GDP dropped from 20.8% in January to March 2005 to 4.5% in the first quarter of 2006.
