Barmek Azerbaijan does not implement terms of the 2nd point of the contract, concluded in 2001 with the Ministry of Economic Development on the right of management of Bakielektrikshebeke: a commitment on payment of energy charges and cut in technical losses, the President of Azerenerji state company, Eibar Pirverdiyev, stated.
Barmek, appropriating $10m, transferred them to the bank of Turkey and other countries. Besides, the company illegally privatized the land plots and registered 26h on the name of a founder of Azpetrol, Rafik Aliyev, who was currently made answerable, the company announced.
Azerenerjy refuted the reports on replacement of Barmek with EES Russia energy company. In compliance with the existing legislation, in case of long-term cessation of contract with the Turkish company it is planned to announce a tender to select a manager of the energy networks and Baku and Sumgayit. The Russian can participate in this tender along with other companies.
