Results of polls to be annulled in stations which showed violation

The CEC will annul the results of polls in the poling stations where violations have been revealed, Azer Sariyev, the spokesman for the CEC, told Trend. In accordance with requirements of the Elections Code in 20 days the CEC will study all complaints and appeals, as well as observers opinions, and confirm the final result of polls. After, the results will be forwarded to the Constitution Court for adoption.

If the number of polling stations where the results of polls have been annulled is two fifth of all stations of a constituency and the number of voters in these stations comprise one forth of total number of voters of this constituency, the results of polls in this constituency will be annulled. The results are annulled in case both terms were revealed, while the results are adopted if only one of them is revealed.

On 14 May the CEC did not receive any appeal in connection with re-run parliamentary elections. It testifies for absence of serious violations during the elections and their normal outcome.
