Process of privatization of state share in Azercell joint venture, a leading mobile operator of the country, is nearing to end, Ali Abbasov, the Azerbaijani Ministry for Communication and Telecommunications, told Trend.
The process of estimation of the enterprise has been complete. The founders urge that until official announcement of trading sessions the price of public share should be kept in secret, but I should say it is too high, the minister noted.
Abbasov said that till autumn the third mobile operator will start functioning. Along with the classic technologies the new operator plans to attract to Azerbaijan new technologies of the third generation, which requires big investments, the minister underlined.
