29 May will be day-off in Azerbaijan. Akif Maharramli, the spokesman for the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan, told Trend the Cabinet took the relevant resolution in compliance with the Law on Change san Supplements the Labor Code of Azerbaijan, dated 30 December 2005.l
The law specifies that of the holidays fell on weekend, these days are shifted to next workdays.
The Independence Day - 28 May falls on Sunday and in this connection is shifted to 29 May, Maharramli underlined.
