Azeri oil market: results of week

From 22 through 26 May AZERI LT average price, sold by Azerbaijan in Supsa and Novorossiysk port, was $69.04 per barrel or $1.22 per barrel more as compared to the previous week, Trend reports. In this period maximal price of AZERI LT was $70.42 per barrel, minimal - $66.89 per barrel

Last week price of URAL (EX-NOVO), marketed at the Novorossiysk port, was $63.44 per barrel, or $1.57 per barrel down than the average price of the previous week. URAL (EX-NOVO) maximal price comprised $64.19 per barrel, minimal one - $61.93 per barrel.

Brent average price (DTD) was $68.54 per barrel ($0.61 down as compared to previous week). Brent maximal price comprised $69.76 per barrel, minimal price of Brent was $66.65 per barrel.

The density of Azeri Light is 34.6 degrees by API, sulphur content 0.14%. The density of oil URAL is 32 degrees by API, sulphur content - 1.3%. The density of oil DTD is 38.3 degrees by API, sulphur content - 0.36%. The density of URAL is 32 degrees by API, the sulphur content 1.3%. Shipment of Azeri Light in the first tanker in the Ceyhan port will start upon oil pumping to one of the reservoirs at the terminal. Oil has been delivered to the port via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export oil pipeline. The volume of the reservoir is 1 million barrels. In general, there are 7 similar volumes which will be fulfilled further. The fulfillment of the tanker has not set up yet. It will be start shortly. The tanker will be delivered late this week At present the some start and adjustment work are underway at the Ceyhan terminal, as well as in the pipeline.

To date approximately 150,000-175,000 barrels of oil a day is pumped to BTC. By the end of the year the volume of pumping will be increased to 300,000-500,000 barrels. In June several more tankers are scheduled for shipment.
