Turkish parliament to discuss arrest of leader of National Awakening Movement of South Azerbaijan

Turkish parliament is going to discuss the arrest of Dr Mahmud Chohragani, leader of National Awakening Movement of South Azerbaijan, in Istanbul, Trend reports with reference to Ihlas agency of Turkey.

The question was raised by Suleyman Saribash, deputy from opposition Anavatan party, who sent a letter to the parliament demanding official explanation from Turkish interior minister Abdulkadir Aksu.

In particular, Turkish MP asks the following: В"Why the man famous for his opposition view in Iran is arrested?В", В"Did Iran demand his arrest?В", В"Is this true that his daughter was arrested as well?В", В"What is the official ground for expelling the man defending national interest of brotherly Azeri nation, from Turkey?В", В"Wouldnt this deed harm Turk-Azeri relationship?В"
