The session of the Parliamentary Assembly of OSCE scheduled for July in Brussels will discuss the issue of national minorities in Azerbaijan, Trend reports with reference to Rabiyat Aslanova, the chairman of permanent parliament commission on human rights, member of Azeri delegation in PA OSCE.
The Azeri delegation is going to deliver a report at the summer session of PA OSCE scheduled for 3-7 July in Brussels on Provision of security of peoples in OSCE region.
Aslanova noted that there wasnt any problem in Azerbaijan connected with national minorities and our country can be presented as a model country in this sphere. The representatives of UNO commissar on national minorities are expected to pay a visit to Baku in the near future.
Aslanova pointed out that there wasnt need in Azerbaijan to adopt a law on national minorities.
