Date of next talks on status of Caspian Sea depends on Turkmenistan deputy Foreign Minister

The Date of the next meeting for drafting the convention on status of Caspian Sea is not defined yet, it will be held in Ashgabat, Trend reports quoting Halaf Halafov, Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan.

At present the parties await Turkmenistans proposals, upon reception of which the meeting date will be adjusted, Halafov said.

According to Halafov, apart from pentalateral talks, Azeri-Turkmen consultations will be held in Ashgabat as well.

At the moment the parties are closing on some points, but it takes time and efforts to approve the convention, Halafov concluded.
