Ad Hoc Committee on Nagorno-Karabakh to meet under June session of PACE

A meeting of the Ad Hoc Committee on Nagorno-Karabakh will be as part of the summer session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), to be held in Strasbourg from 26 to 30 June, Azerbaijani representative to the PACE, MP Aydin Mirzazade, told Trend.

MP said that a meeting of the Ad Hoc Committee on Nagorno-Karabakh is held in every session of the organization. The Armenian Speaker, Tigran Torosian, is a member of this committee. I dont whether he will remain as head of the Armenian delegation. The committee will meet under this session, as well, he underlined.

Mirzazade also noted that the committee is comprised of representatives from 9 countries that formed the Minsk Group in 1994. Along with Armenia three co-chairs, representatives of Finland, Italy, Turkey and some other countries are represented in the committee. The Ad Hoc Committee is led by former President of PACE, John Rossel.

Mirzazade noted that MP Seyidov Azerbaijan will represent Azerbaijan in the Ad Hoc Committee.
