Inflation in Azerbaijan 6% during first half-year head of State Statistics Committee

During January-June 2006, inflation in Azerbaijan made 6%, Trend reports quoting Arif Veliyev, head of State Statistics Committee.

Veliyev said during first six months of 2006 the export fell in Azerbaijan due to decrease of agricultural lands.

During this period, Azerbaijan traded with 117 countries with amount of foreign trade turnover $4.1386bn with growth 46.4%. Export amounted $2.4725bn and import $1.6661bn.
